Communications
Services

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and clear communication with the Hispanic/Latino Catholic community. We strive to support organizations in conveying their messages effectively, bridging the gap between languages and cultures. We do this through bilingual Catholic communications, localization, and consulting for dioceses, publishers, religious communities, state Catholic Conferences, seminaries and other Catholic ministries and organizations serving the Hispanic/Latino community.

We offer three levels of service described below: 1) Review & Catholic Localization of Spanish, 2) Translation & Editorial Localization, 3) Transcreation, Intercultural Consulting & Communications Strategy

Review & Catholic Localization of Spanish

For texts that already exist in Spanish — whether created by AI, staff, volunteers, or a previous translator — and need a professional Catholic review for accuracy, tone, terminology, readability, and cultural fit.

Ideal for AI-generated or internally prepared drafts of simple ministry materials, communications, newsletters, promotional material, websites, and social media.

AI can generate a draft. Effective Catholic communication still requires human discernment. This service combines AI-assisted efficiency with professional human review to ensure materials are: theologically accurate, pastorally appropriate, culturally localized, stylistically consistent, natural and readable for Hispanic Catholic audiences

Translation & Editorial Localization

For projects that need professional translation

Sometimes you do not just need a quick Spanish version. You need a careful, professional translation that is faithful to the original, clear for your audience, and appropriate for Catholic ministry.

This service is for projects that need to be translated from English into Spanish by a human translator with Catholic ministry experience.

Ideal for books, manuals, catechetical resources, small group studies, pastoral plans, formation programs, policy documents, and professional ministry publications.
Our fully human translation service ensures your Catholic message is 100% faithful and tailored to your audience’s pastoral and cultural needs. We go beyond translation, delivering publication-quality work rooted in thorough research, editorial precision, and cultural sensitivity.

Common Questions

Providing quality materials in Spanish is a great way to demonstrate your desire and commitment to serve Hispanic/Latino Catholics in your ministry.

We provide tailored translation services that take into account both language and culture. Our team works closely with you to understand your specific needs and context, ensuring every translation is accurate and resonates with your audience. From initial consultation to final delivery, we prioritize your message and its integrity.

AI can generate a draft. Effective Catholic communication still requires human discernment.

A translation may look correct at first glance and still be awkward, overly literal, inconsistent, culturally off, or theologically imprecise. Catholic communications often include Scripture quotations, Church terminology, pastoral tone, and audience-specific context, so human review is important before materials are printed, published, used in formation, or shared on behalf of a Catholic organization.

If your ministry is using AI to translate materials, I created A Catholic Minister’s Checklist for Reviewing Machine (AI) Translations to help you know what to look for before using an AI-generated Spanish draft.

We also offer two levels of support depending on where your project is in the process. Review & Catholic Localization is for materials that are already in Spanish — whether created by AI, staff, volunteers, or a previous translator — and need a professional Catholic review for accuracy, tone, terminology, readability, and cultural fit. Translation & Editorial Localization is for projects that need professional translation from English into Spanish, especially materials that are public-facing, theological, pastoral, long-form, or require careful Catholic terminology research, bilingual copyediting, formatting, and editorial localization.

To request a translation, simply fill out our inquiry form. Please include details about your project and the timeline required. Our team will get back to you promptly to discuss the next steps. If you have sent the document you need translated, we will send you a personalized quote.

We specialize in translating from English to Spanish or Spanish to English, ensuring both linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance. Our team is dedicated to providing translations that resonate with your audience.

We can usually make room in our schedule to translate 1,000-2,000 words per work day (8,000 words per work week) depending on the complexity.

If you need something quicker than that, need a translation the same day, or you need us to work over the weekend, there is a rush fee which is subject to our availability.

Once we send the translation we remain available for feedback and will make any adjustments needed to reach the final version.

Translation accuracy is vital to our mission. We employ bilingual experts with theological insights to review and ensure all translations convey the intended message. This thorough review process helps us maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all projects.

Yes, we translate various documents including but not limited to educational materials, religious texts, and organizational communications. We ensure that all translations reflect the nuances of your subject matter.

We will maintain the format of the original as long as it is provided in a format we can edit. (For example, Word, .idml from InDesign, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Canva). If the document is sent in a format we cannot edit directly (PDF or image files) an extra fee may apply if you want us to try to match the formatting.

Our pricing is based on the project’s word count and complexity. We offer competitive rates while maintaining high-quality service. Additional fees will apply for fast turnarounds and projects that require more extensive editing, formatting, subject indexes, or specialized research.
